  1. Aim to drink little and often
  2. Make drinking fluids part of your daily routine
  3. Carry a drink with you – make fluid a constant companion
  4. Consider a naturally isotonic drink to increase hydration (isotonic drinks are a third more effective than water for absorbing fluid)
  5. Check the colour of your urine to monitor hydration levels
